01 — About

A fullstack developer at home on both sides of the API.

Portrait of Samyen Lee Andriatiana
Antananarivo, Madagascar

Since 2020, I’ve been designing and maintaining web applications and enterprise systems for international organisations: Conduent, Kyowa Kirin Hub and BICI Madagascar. As a consultant in Agile teams of 6 to 10 people, I work from React components to PL/SQL packages, all the way to production releases.

Today I mostly work with .NET and C#: payment integrations, automated testing, Azure DevOps pipelines. Alongside that, I’m deeply interested in generative AI (LLMs, LangChain, RAG), which I put into practice by building a medical chatbot.

MadaSanté

An LLM-powered medical chatbot

A health-focused conversational assistant. It answers from medical documents, web sources and a database, suggests leads from symptoms and promotes prevention.

My roleDesign, architecture and full development, in a team of two

  • Conversational memory with LangChain
  • RAG: embeddings and a VectorStore to ground answers in documents
  • Merging heterogeneous sources: web, documents, database
  • Custom prompts and a normalised answer format
  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • LangChain
  • OpenAI API
  • React
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQLite

The journey of a question

Click a step to explore it.

“I’ve had a fever and a sore throat for three days.”

Structured answer: possible causes, advice, when to see a doctor.

Access-controlled medical content

The site combines three sign-in methods and three access levels. I implemented the logic deciding which content each visitor can see, including through deep links and temporary access.

My roleReact / Next.js front-end developer

  • OneKey, DocCheck and SelfCert sign-in
  • Hierarchical access levels A < B < C
  • Deep links and temporary access
  • React templates driven by the Acoustic CMS
  • React
  • Next.js
  • JavaScript

The access model

Simplified illustration: pick a level.

Access level

  • AContent AAvailable
  • BContent BLocked
  • CContent CLocked

Deep links and temporary access open targeted content without changing level.
